Search Console Coverage Report
The Search Console Coverage Report (now technically known as the Page Indexing Report) is the most critical diagnostic tool in technical SEO. It details exactly which URLs Google has successfully crawled and indexed, and explicitly lists the technical reasons why other URLs were rejected (e.g., “Crawled, currently not indexed,” “Duplicate without user-selected canonical,” or “Soft 404”). Analyzing the excluded URLs in this report is mandatory for identifying crawl budget waste, fixing broken site architecture, and ensuring that 100% of a domain’s high-value commercial assets are actually eligible to rank in the search results.
Search Console Coverage Report Simplified
The Coverage Report is a list from Google that shows you exactly which pages of your website it has saved, and which pages it refuses to save. If Google refuses to save your most important product pages, this report will tell you exactly what technical error is causing the problem.
