Trust Flow
Trust Flow is a proprietary metric developed by the SEO software company Majestic that measures the perceived trustworthiness and quality of a website’s backlink profile on a scale from 0 to 100. Unlike metrics that purely measure link volume (like Citation Flow), Trust Flow evaluates how closely a domain is linked to a manually curated list of highly authoritative, “seed” websites (such as Wikipedia or major news outlets). A high Trust Flow score indicates that a domain’s link profile is natural, authoritative, and highly resistant to algorithmic penalties or core update volatility.
Trust Flow Simplified
Trust Flow is a score from 1 to 100 that grades the quality of the websites linking to you. If you get links from highly respected, trustworthy sites like the New York Times, your score goes up. If you get links from spammy blogs, your score goes down.
